Please read this entire page before installing. DigiTunnel 1.0 is a previous release for OS X 10.1 users. It is not compatible with any newer version of Mac OS X. If you are upgrading from DigiTunnel 1.0/OS X 10.1 to OS X 10.2, uninstall DigiTunnel first, using the DigiTunnel Uninstaller in your DigiTunnel folder. If you have Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) or 10.3 (Panther), click here for the current version of DigiTunnel. Only for certain PPTP VPN servers: Windows 2000 and NT 4 servers are supported, but many other servers are not. If you are trying to connect to an incompatible server, such as an IPSec-only or L2PT-only server, or certain PPTP servers, this product is not for you. See our compatibility list. DAVE supports DigiTunnel! DAVE users, upgrade to DAVE 4.0.2 to use DigiTunnel. Earlier versions of DAVE were not compatible. Other requirements include Mac OS X 10.1 through 10.1.5, an Internet connection; if using NAT, a PPTP-Aware NAT router. See our requirements page. DigiTunnel is commercial software: Free to try for 30 days, $58 to buy (quantity and education discounts, see order forms at left). Downloading and installing 1. To download, click the link at left under the icon. If the file does not unzip automatically, drag it to Stuffit Expander. Note: If the name of your download folder contains any special characters, such as "!", the installer may not work. Move it to a folder (such as your Desktop) that doesn't have special characters in the name. (None of the folders that contain your download folder may have special characters either.) 2. Quit System Preferences, (upgraders) close any open VPN connection, and to ensure a smooth install, quit other open applications. You can leave your web browser (that you are viewing this with) open. 3. Open "Install DigiTunnel 1.0" Follow on-screen instructions. An administrator password is required. It is normal for two installer icons to appear in the dock for a few seconds. 4. After the installer is finished, DigiTunnel Setup Assistant opens.
